Well, after yesterday's hyperactive rant of doom, I believe I owe you all an explination. Which I had typed out and copied so I could replace the batteries in my keyboard but dissappeared. XP So I have to type it all over again. Joy.
Well, yesterday, my parents called, and asked me to close all the windows in the house and turn on both air conditioners. I had to put up the screen window and pull down the glass storm window too. So I go upstairs and it's hot and the windows were being...disagreeable. They wouldn't go up so I had to bend into akward positions to put the screen up, and then the glass would be stuck or something and you know. So I got frustrated. I ended up closing all the windows on the upstairs floor and turning the air conditioner on. So I go downstairs to repeat the process, right? I got to the dining room windows and that's where it happened. I was so frustrated and tired of bending and crap that I banged my hand against the window pane twice and it broke. I got glass everywhere, and little sliver in my hand. So I'm bleeding, I call my parents, they come home, survey the damage, and clean up the glass. So I'm in the bathroom cleaning my hand and then I walk through the kitchen to the dining room, where my parents are. Now they went out to dinner at Carrabarra's and I know I spelled that wrong. So they brought me home a pizza. Lucky me, eh? Well, my brother wasn't home, he was at camp, so he wasn't home to have any. So I walk past the pizza on the island counter(the piece of counter in the middle of the kitchen/room) and there's this black box on the pizza box. It had the picture of the side of an iPod and the words iPod Nano in white letters on it. So: okay, iPod, cool. And I reach the doorway of the dining room and the kitchen and I'm all like "whoa whoa whoa, backtrack, back up, back up, back up." And start walking backwards. I reach the box with my backwards walking and see that it is indeed the box for an iPod Nano. And it was apparently for me. So I go to my mom, who was smirking the whole time and I could see it even though she wasn't facing me and hug her around the waist and say thank you. In fact, the whole night it was "thank you *hug*" and "it's so pretty". XD
So that's the wonderful story of how I got my iPod nano. Which I love. I opened up the box and it's sitting in this little cubby thing and resting all pretty and shiney and it's BLACK!! YEAH!!! Whoo. The click wheel took me a while to figure out how to work, but I can use it well now. I have 426 songs, 21.5 hours of songs, and 1.54 GB used already. It can hold around 1000 songs, and up to 4.0 GB. It has games, can store photos, play music, it has a clock, an alarm and lots of cool stuff. When you install the software on the cd that came with it it prompts you to register it, so I did. You get to "personalize" it. How so? You get to name it. I named mine Roxas. XD So I have a black shiney iPod nano named Roxas. My parents also got this really cool holding case for it, that's some leather-pleather material, and it closes with magnets. Which is so totally awesome. ^^
Well, that's pretty much it. Oh yeah. I'm writing a fic called crisscross for kh2. It's about roxas and kairi and how they cut themselves, and each chapter is set at a doctor/psychologist's office with flashbacks telling most of the story. It's pretty cool so far. I need a beta, if anybody's willing to.
